Keymar Barn Restoration

Keymar, Maryland

Rafters, bent framing and floor joists had become structurally unsound.  The cause was a a wind damaged roof left unrepaired for several years. The new owner wanted to save the barn and called on Fitzgerald's Heavy Timber Construction for assistance. New timbers were custom cut to the appropriate dimensions. Following the details of the existing framing the joinery was cut to connect and splice the new  and the old timbers together.
